We hear of heros, sometimes the word is used to denote veterans who have served. Here is a bit about a real hero, Col Robert H. Howard, US Army, who was presented the Congressional Medal of Honor by President Richard Nixon.
NBC anchor Brian Williams referred to Howard as "... the most heavily-decorated American veteran of the modern era, period."
Florida Snips & Snaps wouldn't be here without the aid of GoDaddy's Website Tonight crew. I owe them quite a bit and I've been looking at founder Bob Parsons' material. Negotiation really is an art and Bob tells it like it is. I recommend that anyone who is trying for anything where negotiation is a factor look carefully at this material and learn. Who knows, it could really make a difference in your success.
Don't forget to keep watching Florida Snips & Snaps. Irish Blessings Upon You All.
Remember, too, this quote from Abraham Lincoln: "Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle".
13 songs PLUS 13 instrumental tracks - what a value! Also downloadable from

Mrs Kate announced today that she "is now a Florida State Touring Artist.
If
you are a teacher or administrator, this means that you can apply for
fee
support (contingent on legislature funding) for my concert at your
school.
Guess what, this just isn't for schools, it's for all non-profits
(church,
library, civic venues, festivals, etc.) Here's where to go for more
info. Arts On Tour - Florida
State Touring Roster - Division of Cultural Affairs.
Application
deadline for presenters is May
1! If you have anything to do with Red
Ribbon Week at your school, or would like for me to come to your
school to do a
Just Say No to
Drugs program in October, NOW
IS THE TIME to think about this, to apply for funds,
and
book a date. It's not hard. (FYI, I just checked the website, and
it's down temporarily, but it should be operational this coming week!)
(sorry, this won't work in Nassau
County, gotta be outside my county to be
touring)"
Many American servicemen fell in Vietnam. I served during that time, but didn't go to Vietnam. I was lucky. I did make it next door though and served for a year in Thailand. This virtual "Wall" is something I was sent recently and I think it important enough to include here. it has a lot of information and you may find someone you know. It's arranged by location and name. Remember these servicemen. They gave their lives for you.
