November 5 Driver of the Week

After a month's vacation, Dave Hicken and James Wofford have brought the roar of Go-Kart racing to their Callahan Speedway again. 
Troy Barber, 15, is the Driver of the Week for November 5, 2011.  He drives a Box Stock Lite (325 pounds) Kart..   He's used number 8 for all his sports events.  
He lives in Bryceville with his parents, Torsten and Charity Barber and attends West Nassau High School as a ninth grader. 

November 19 Driver of the Week

Eight year old Ricardo Ruiz is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for November 19.  He drives a Box Stock Silver Plate, Number 10, for the El Dorado Racing Team.   Ricardo has been racing for three weeks at the Speedway.  He attends the Callahan Elementary School and is in the second grade.  Ricardo drives a Hicken Go Kart motor.  He and his younger brothers, Miguel and Alejandro Ruiz, live with their parents, Miguel, Sr. and Adriana Ruiz, in Callahan.
