March 26, 2011 Driver of the Week
David A. Gifford, #5, is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for March 26, 2011. His number, #5, commerorates his favorite driver Mark Martin. David is a fire fighter/paramedic for St Johns Co. Fire Rescue. This week is his first run and fufills a childhood dream to race go-karts. David placed 7th in the Box Stock 375 for his first ever race and 3d in the Box Stock 400 for his second. David lives in Jacksonville.

Driver of the Week
Preston Sparks, #98, is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for March 19, 2011. He picked #98 because that was his birth year. Twelve years old, Preston is in the 6th grade at Callahan Middle School. He's been racing go-karts for about 5 years. He drives in the Junior Unrestricted class with a required weight of 320 pounds. Preston wants to be NASCAR driver for Hendrick Motor Sports when he gets older. His parents are Angel and Shaun Sparks of Callahan.
He wanted to say a special "Thank You" to TJ Newton Motorsports, Paul Beech Roofing, Radical Racing, Houdini Racing and his Mom and Dad.
