April 9, 2011 Driver of the Week
Richard Sadler, #14, is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for April 9, 2011. He took his number from a local short track hero, Richard Poindexter. Richard, who works for NFlorida Erection Co as a structural steel iron worker, and his wife, Jennifer, live in Yulee, FL. They have two children, Ryan, age 8, and Kendall, age 3. He's been racing since 1981.

April 16 Driver of the Week
Kole Platt, 7, is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for April 16, 2011. He's been driving about five months. He and his sister, Peyton, live with their parents, Eric and Kim, in Jacksonville. Kole drives an '08 Prowler in the 265 pound Purple Box Stock class. His number, 44P, carries on his father's number from his stock car racing days. Four year old Peyton doesn't race, yet, but plans to start when she reaches the minimum age of 5. Eric works at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
April 23 Driver of the Week
Trace Ferguson is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for April 23, 2011. His number, 5, commemorates his favorite NASCAR driver, Mark Martin. Trace's been racing for about one year though he's been a fan practically his whole life. He drives a 2010 UltraMax Bad Max in the Box Stock Super Heavy (400 pound) class.Trace is currently attending Florida State College Jacksonville and is majoring in Construction Electricity Management. He lives with his parents Rick and Paige Ferguson and one brother, Palmer, in Glen St. Mary. Palmer also races, but in a different class, Box Stock Light (320 pounds), so they do not compete.
