June 4, 2011 Driver of the Week

Eight year old Jordan Fowler is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for June 4, 2011.  He's been racing for the past three years and races on both dirt (like Callahan Speedway) and asphalt tracks.  He continues using his dad's number, 70.  Jordan was the 2008 North Florida Kart Club, Jacksonville, champion at age 5 and also the 2009 Ocala Grand Prix Kid Kart champion, Ocala, FL.  He drives a Box Stock Purple Plate 265 on dirt tracks and also drives asphalt sprint racing classes including Code & Sportsman, MicroMax and Yamaaha Sportsman. Jordan lives with his father, Justin Fowler in Jacksonville.  Justin works for A&M Fabrication & Welding, a family owned business.  Jordan's sponsors include A&M Fabrication & Welding, Amsoil, SMXOptics and Douglas Racing Technology. 

June 11, 2011 Driver of the Week

Chase Collins, 11, is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for June 11, 2011.  He's been racing for about three months on dirt tracks such as Callahan Speedway..  Chase is in the 5th grade at Sheffield Elementary in Jacksonville.  His parents are Johnny and Carly Collins of Jacksonville. Chase drives number 5, an Ultra Max Kart in the Purple Plate class, to continue his father's number.
