June 25 Driver of the Week

 Jeffery Leonard is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for June 25, 2011.  He's been racing Go-Karts for the past 21 years, starting when he was about six and his Dad got him a Kart for a birthday present.  He drives a Phantom Seraph in all adult classes including Box Stock.  One class is Heavy 375.  He lives in Jacksonville with his wife Christina and two children, eight year old Jayleigh and two year old Jenna.  Jayleigh has started driving Karts while Jenna has a couple of years before she can start.  Jeffery works for Raymond Handling  Consultants as a product support represesntative (forklifts) in Jacksonville.  His sponsors include Quality Septic, Kevin Johnson, and Capps Racing Engines. 

July 23 Driver of the Week

Austin Yarbrough is the Callahan Speedway Driver of the Week for Saturday, July 23.  Twelve years old, he's been racing since he was three.  He drives #127 in the Blue Plate/Gold Plate class.   His parents are Austin and Devon Yarbrough.  He attends Pierce County Middle School in seventh grade.
